Types of Adverbs

  1. Adverb of manner - e.g. slowly, happily, sadly, angrily.

  1. Adverb of quality – e.g. very, too, enough, much, so, extremely, absolutely.

-          Pinaki is very intelligent.

  1. Adverb of quantity – e.g. almost, completely, especially, extremely, hardly, just, nearly, only.

-          My father spends little time with me.

  1. Adverb of time – e.g. Soon now, later, then, tomorrow, today, everyday, weekly.

-          Pinaki my friend went for jungle safari to Kaziranga yesterday

  1. Adverb of places – e.g. below, between, above, behind, through.

  1. Adverb of degree - e.g. Really, too, very, strongly, highly, incredibly

  1. Adverb of frequency – e.g. Often, seldom, rarely, every now and then, hardly ever, sometimes
